Following the Irish Theme Party, Town Center residents and their guests continued into the dining room for a traditional Irish dinner. The meal began with a Cheddar Ale Soup, followed by the entrée which consisted of Guinness Corned Beef, Cabbage, Red Potato Colcannon, and clover-leaf Wheat Rolls. Residents raved about the meal and said the corned beef and the cabbage were prepared perfectly, just the way it is supposed to be! Many residents grew up on corned beef and cabbage which was a typical meal in most households. After dinner Chefs Chris and Steven prepared green crepes with an apple mixture…adding rum to ignite the flames for a beautiful presentation. The apples were added to the crepes and topped with vanilla bean ice cream. Residents commented that this goes to the top of their list of all-time favorite theme dinner meals!
