The Town Center Western Theme Party and Dinner started off with folks steppin’ up to the bar and dancin’ the two-step to the music of Sulley and Sisson. The band played fun songs of yesteryear…such as “Home on the Range,” “My Darlin Clementine,” and “Red River Valley”…then went on to add more recent songs by George Strait, “Amarillo By Morning” and Garth Brooks, “The Dance”. Jill, the female singer of the group, did a wonderful job singing songs of The Judds, Patsy Cline, Rita Coolidge, and Crystal Gayle. The residents proceeded to dinner after the pre-party and were treated to wedge salads (western style) and a plate of BBQ ribs, scalloped potatoes, and green beans. To finish the evening, Chef Chris prepared apples flambé in the dining room and served them over square pie biscuits with vanilla ice cream. It was a fun evening and residents were very creative with their mode of dress…lots of cowboy hats, bandanas, jeans, boots…and Nadine Holloway was very chic in her chaps!
