It was a colorful night at the Town Center Hawaiian Theme Party and Dinner. The Donna Rice band played for our pre-party while everyone enjoyed cocktails. The band learned some Hawaiian songs just for the party and it was fun to see family, guests, and residents get out on the dance floor. Becky served Bahama Mamas and Pina Coladas, but the residents’ favorite drink is still margaritas! The tables were filled with starfish vases holding sea shells and pink alstroemerias, multi-colored parasols, Hawaiian candles, colored fans, tiny fish pinatas, leis, and tiny white lights in the shape of pineapples or flamingos. After the party, everyone proceeded to the dining room to enjoy a delicious Hawaiian dinner prepared by Chef Chris and his cooks. The meal included shish-kabobs, ham, and a stuffed crab with sides and a key lime pie for dessert. Everyone raved about the food and enjoyed all the Hawaiian decorations as well.
