The Arts Council of Oklahoma City comes to our community once a month to do classes in assisted living and memory care. This month they decided to do an autumn theme using pastels and embossing. Most of the residents decided to do leaves of various colors, others did trees, pumpkins or flowers. This was a unique style of painting for everyone so it was fun to try something new!
Following the art class, several of the ladies decided to have a facial with a Mary Kay consultant who came to visit for the afternoon. She tried different masks on the ladies, did facial massages, and then did everyone’s make-up. You can tell by their faces, this was an exhilarating experience!
