Shana Brown, LPN, did her first Watermark University class on Making Omelettes in The Springs. Shana loves to cook for her family so she wanted to share her love of food with the residents. She brought several ingredients for residents to chop and prepare to provide choices of food to add to their omelettes. Residents then scooped their choice of ingredients into a cup for Shana to add to the eggs while preparing the individual omelettes. She offered chopped tomatoes, chives, ham, cheese, bacon, mushrooms and several spices. It was fun for the residents, trying to decide what kind of omelette they wanted to try. Everyone agreed this was a special treat in the middle of the afternoon and all are looking forward to the next class and the next list of ingredients Shana will bring!
